Always take books from strangers. That is my new policy. Deciding what to read next can be a real challenge and everyone has his or her own way of selecting what titles make it into their book bag. Some consult the bestseller lists or read reviews in newspapers and magazines. Some rely on Amazon’s magical algorithm or get advice from trusted friends. Others reach for appealing covers or clever titles. Rarely do we have the experience of a relative stranger thrusting a book into our hands-- unless of course, you work in a library.
