1. My audio on Zoom is not working, how can I troubleshoot?

If you’re unable to connect your audio, make sure to look through your app permissions to enable access to your microphone. You then should have a list of options to connect, either by call by internet, call by phone, or an audio or microphone device. To find more information about troubleshooting visit Zoom Support.

2. Why can't I pay my citation online?

Your case may require your appearance to answer to your charge.Defendants must appear in open court for all family violence and juvenile case. You are not able to pay these citations prior to appearing in Court.If you do not have a family violence or juvenile case, please contact the court at 281-427-9511.

5. How do I get my court date postponed or reset to another date?

You may request a reset the following ways:

• Submit the Court Continuance form 
  • Court Continuance - In Person
  • Court Continuance - Virtual 
  • Pre-Trial Continuance
• Come to the front window to request a continuance
• Submit a request in writing via mail, night dropbox, or e-mail. 

6. How long does a court hearing usually take?

The length of virtual and in person court hearings vary based on the number of defendants scheduled to appear on that day and the nature of their case(s).

7. I am 25 years old now but wasn’t at the time of the violation, am I still required to take a driving safety course as part of my deferred?

Yes, the requirements for deferred disposition are based on your age at the time of the violation.
